Myers Park

“Good ideas produce good results. Myers Park, which opened on September 1, 1912, when the first trolley lumbered through the streetcar gateway on Queens Road, is a case in point.” (Dr. Dan L. Morrill and Nancy B. Thomas)
Since the early 1900s, Myers Park has been a neighborhood both praised in its desirability, and clamored-for by Charlotteans who want a fine quality of life without too much distance between them and Uptown. Keeping up with the rest of the Queen City as far as development goes means that there are a number of multi-family projects that are currently under development in the Myers Park-area (and even into the Eastover limits as well!). The large homes and tightly-knit community are both selling points for a high percentage of residents hoping to move into this borough. Given that this neighborhood is centrally-located to South Park, Uptown, I-77, and I-277, its a no-brainer why Charlotteans yearn to call Myers Park home!
